Climate finance

Climate Funds are used to help finance initiatives to address climate change. Financial contributions made by public (and some private) sources tend to be channelled through established Climate Funds, and make vital contributions to the projects and initiatives undertaken to mitigate and adapt to climate change.

Navigating the complex landscape of Climate Finance and Climate Funds is not straightforward. The process of identifying the most suitable fund for a given project can be very demanding in terms of time and resources. BlacktoGreen specialises in analysing the viability of climate change projects, and undertakes financial modelling of potential investments. We have developed an extensive and up-to-date database of hundreds of national and international Climate Funds, which allows the fast identification of the most suitable Climate Funds for a given project or initiative. We also provide strategic support during the process of contacting, applying to, and negotiating with climate funds on behalf of project developers; we have strong connections with relevant financial institutions, especially those based in Spain and Mexico.

If you’re interested to know whether your project could benefit from Climate Finance support please provide the basic background information on the project via this brief (and confidential) questionaire – BlacktoGreen will undertake an extensive and free-of-charge climate fund search and respond to you within 24 hours.

If you’re a climate fund professional or manager with an interest in finding promising climate change mitigation or adaptation projects feel free to tell us about your fund(s) via this brief questionnaire.
